J.D. Vance, the Republican nominee to represent Ohio in the U.S. Senate, blasted his Democratic counterpart over his silence on the harassment of members of the Supreme Court by pro-abortion groups.
Since the leak of a draft opinion from the Supreme Court that signaled the group supports overturning Roe v. Wade, protesters have flocked the homes of the justices.
The move followed a left-wing group publishing the supposed home addresses of conservative Justices Amy Coney Barrett, John Roberts, Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch.
“I notice that @TimRyan, who has taken the radical position of defending the late-term abortion of babies up until the moment of birth, refuses to speak out against the left-wing mob targeting Supreme Court justices & shamefully interrupting houses of worship across the country,” Vance said in a tweet.

In addition to the protest, pro-abortion activists have committed to targeting churches.
Connected to the Supreme Court leak, Vance took aim at Ryan for his support of abolishing the filibuster. Ryan affirmed his previous statement on the matter by releasing a video on Twitter saying he looked forward to “getting rid of the filibuster.”
“It’s been just over a week since Tim Ryan became the Democrat nominee for Senate and already he’s revealed himself to be just another left-wing radical posing as a supposed “moderate.” Last week he endorsed late-term abortion on demand with no limits, and this week he’s standing with extremists like AOC, whom he votes with 95 percent of the time, to endorse an end to the filibuster in the Senate,” Vance said in a campaign statement.
Vance and Ryan will square off with each other in the November general election to fill the seat of retiring Senator Rob Portman.
